With global fashion industry facing challenges of over-consumption, exploiting labour force and environmental resources, FX was designed to share the growing impact and become a leader in sustainable fashion production. With the people and the planet in mind, it fosters a new generation of industry leaders - committed, professional, and ethical.

FX is a vibrant hub where fashion education, design, production, entrepreneurship and engagement come together under one roof in the heart of downtown Toronto. FX brings together fashion educators, industry partners, community organizations, and fashion graduates to innovate for an increasingly sustainable, socially-conscious, and economically vibrant fashion industry.

FASHION EXCHANGE; A NEW FORCE FOR CHANGE 

By bringing together educators, industry partners, community stakeholders and fashion graduates, FX has been successful at identifying and putting in place the practical education and curriculum needed to train people for immediate job opportunities. Our current training and education offerings include Postgraduate Certificates in Apparel Technical Design and Sustainable Fashion Production as well as the Fast Track employment focused Certificates: Women in Fashion TECH, Apparel Fit Technician and Industrial Power Sewing .

FX offers apparel manufacturing services to support emerging fashion designers and labels in their sample making and small-run production needs, providing further Design consulting and Mentorship training on demand.
